Retention Sales Executive

A career opportunity exists for the position of Retention Sales Executive in the Retail Sales Department of Continental Outdoor Media – Head Office - Bryanston

Minimum Requirements

•    Matric
•    Previous client services liaison experience an added advantage
•    A minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in the advertising industry

Roles and Responsibilities
•    Retain and grow existing business as advised by your Supervisor
•    Build and maintain customer relationships by calling and visiting on a regular basis offering excellent after sales service
•    Present yourself and behave professionally at all times
•    Be on time for appointments and meet deadlines promised to clients or call to pre-empt  client calling first if the deadline has not been achieved
•    Handle all calls and appointments professionally and efficiently
•    Achieve and exceed individual monthly target, thereby contributing to the overall revenue budget of the department
•    Complete all contracts and relevant admin timeously
•    Ensure all signage is in good condition at all times, as well as reporting any maintenance, accident or construction to the operations department in all areas
•    Take responsibility in resolving customer queries and complaints, follow up with client and ensure notes are on file for record purposes
•    Return messages and respond to fax and e-mail messages timeously
•    Attend weekly sales meetings and workshops, functions and any other company related excursions that may continue after normal business hours
•    Keep abreast of product knowledge, competitors and the outdoor advertising industry
•    Perform ad hoc duties as and when necessary
•    Maintain all company discipline, policies and department standards and retain confidentiality at all times

Retail Branch Co-ordinator

Qualifications
•    Matric
•    3 years supervisory experience of more than 10 staff
•    Computer literate – MS Office
•    Valid SA driving license

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Field

•    Overseeing all Retail media
•    Oversee the correct placement of media
•    Oversee maintenance of existing media
•    Oversee maintenance of Retail assets
•    Control client and resident queries
•    Control sub-contractors
•    Control scooter driver’s routes
•    Liaise with Councils and Pik-it-up regarding assets

Administration

•    Managing the Retail Department, staff and admin
•    Manage any asset related feedback from Asset Controller
•    Manage general office admin reported by Operations Assistant
•    Chair weekly Retail staff meetings

Sales Administrator

A career opportunity exists for the position of Sales Administrator in the Outdoor Sales Department of Continental Outdoor Media – Head Office - Bryanston


Minimum Requirements
•    Matric
•    Previous experience in an administrative environment
•    Must be computer literate with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Roles and Responsibilities

•    Ability to extract information from the database (Compass) e.g. billboard availabilities
•    Proposals and options to be recorded within the database system
•    Compile PowerPoint presentations. Sales backup must ensure that the pictures are correct and that the spelling and layout of the presentations are in line with Continental Outdoor Media’s corporate image
•    Export information from Compass into Excel
•    Typing of contracts for the Account Executives
•    Assist the department in attending to telephone calls
•    Contact clients on behalf of the Account Executives
•    Maintain cleanliness of the printing/faxing area
•    General filing and distribution of faxes for the Account Executives
•    Assist with switchboard duties
•    General Secretarial functions
